Rereading my favorite book and adding my thoughts and emotions throughout was such a special experience. If you are trying to figure out what the first book you annotate will be, I recommend choosing something you’ve read before, or a book in your favorite genre. I started with my favorite book that I have read multiple times already so I could really focus on analyzing the text I was reading.
