There are different examples of illustration from the book The Call of Cthulhu. The relationship between an illustration and a research paper is that the two describe a certain element or topic. In addition, it helps to describe the information non-technical audience and therefore there is need to provide overall impression of the object and its functions in order to enhance the interest and understanding of the viewer (Quan, Shuai, and Ning, 297-305). Technical and scientific illustrations help to communicate information of technical and scientific nature. Illustration can be technical, scientific, and fine art. In addition, illustration helps to define the various functional parts of the objected. Illustration helps to outline the different parts of the object. Illustration is a decoration, interpretation, or visual explanation of a concept, process, or text that is designed for integration in published media like posters, fryers, magazines, animations, films, teaching materials and films (Quan, Shuai, and Ning, 297-305). This paper seeks to analyze the short story, “The Call of Cthulhu”.
